We compare learning to hiking in class. The first step is to start the journey. There will be twists (new learning), turns (extension and self directed research), steep climbs (new learning can be tough at times), and breezy descents (Where you are confident and own your own knowledge). Just when we reach the top of our mountain , and we are enjoying the view, we spy the many other mountains on our trail. That is ongoing learning. We are always on the path. I am grateful to be on the journey this year with your children.
